Building Enterprise, Empowerment & Economic Equity
BE3 is a flagship economic empowerment initiative designed to help individuals in underserved communities develop the skills, systems, and support needed to build sustainable businesses and lasting wealth. Implemented as an auxiliary program of the Center of Hope Community Development Corporation (COHCDC), BE3 focuses on equipping entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to turn ideas into viable ventures that serve as financial vehicles for generational legacy.
At its core, BE3 blends practical business development with values-driven leadership—ensuring participants are not only building profitable enterprises, but doing so with intention, stewardship, and long-term community impact.

Center of Hope
Real Impact, Real Growth
The impact of BE3 is best reflected in the experiences of the entrepreneurs it serves:
-
Founders have gained hands-on coaching, personalized mentorship, and access to industry professionals who help refine strategy and execution.
-
Participants have strengthened their financial systems, organized bookkeeping, and secured new contracts with major partners.
-
Businesses have implemented scalable systems—from operational frameworks to AI-powered internal tools—allowing lean teams to grow efficiently and confidently.
Across industries, BE3’s relational, hands-on approach has helped founders move from uncertainty to clarity, from vision to execution, and from isolation to community.
Why This Program Matters
BE3 was created in response to persistent economic disparities that continue to limit wealth-building opportunities in communities of color. While entrepreneurial talent and innovation are abundant, many founders face systemic barriers—limited access to capital, business education, mentorship, and scalable infrastructure. The result is often stalled growth and capital leakage, where economic activity flows out of the community instead of circulating within it.
Grounded in biblical principles of stewardship, justice, and community flourishing, BE3 exists to interrupt this cycle. The program intentionally cultivates an entrepreneurial ecosystem where ideas are strengthened, businesses are fortified, and economic value is retained and reinvested locally—laying the groundwork for long-term stability and legacy.
United Faith Coalition’s investment played a catalytic role in BE3’s growth—supporting visibility, partnerships, and future programming. UFC funding helped position BE3 for expansion through platforms like the 2025 Hope Small Business Expo and collaborative business convenings, laying the foundation for a formal incubator and conference division in the years ahead.
Through this support, BE3 has moved beyond a program into an emerging ecosystem—one designed to equip, convene, and sustain values-driven entrepreneurs for generations to come.
